What is MyMediApp? What Services does it provide?

MyMediApp is an online doctor consultation platform, which allows you to access Non-Emergency/ Preventive Healthcare from anywhere and at any time!
MyMediApp Services: Upon subscription, a user gets access to MyMediApp’s panel of certified and experienced General Physicians to consult for any non-emergency medical situations. Using MyMediApp services through the web/mobile app, one can avail either video/audio consultations, chat with an expert general physician, get investigations done, obtain prescribed medicines, update health profiles, or view all medical records through her, anywhere and anytime!
It’s that simple.

  1. For what ailments/ illness can I consult a doctor here?

MyMediApp offers preventive healthcare services. Following is a list of illnesses and ailments that are normally consulted for, in addition to many more:

  • Headache, Migraine
  • Colds, Flu, Fever, Viral infection
  • Chest infection
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea, Vomiting
  • Constipation

  1. Who can use MyMediApp services? Can I get a doctor of my choice?

MyMediApp can be used by anyone above the age of 16 years with a secure identification process. Users can also book appointments on behalf of their children if they are under 16 years of age.
MyMediApp is an Online Doctor Consultation Platform. We ensure standardization of quality services and deliver satisfactory doctor consultation services to the end user. All our doctors are highly qualified & experienced in treating the various medical concerns pertaining to preventive healthcare.

  1. We have health cards provided by our company which even covers OPD consultation. How are your service beneficial to us?

Health cards or the insurance card may provide you with 1 or 2 free consultations or a discounted rate. However, by using our app, you can avail unlimited consultations for your whole family. You can consult from your home or your office and thus, avoid the unnecessary waiting time at hospitals/clinics for getting appointments. Here, you avoid wasting time in activities such as travelling/waiting and can also opt to get medicines delivered straight to your doorstep.
Thus, MyMediApp saves your time and health, apart from being extremely affordable!

  1. You are limited by providing GP consultation only. How does it help the entire family? 

A General Physician is normally the first consultation for any medical condition. Our doctors help you address your basic/non-emergency medical conditions, where our chief objective is to ensure Preventive Healthcare.

  1. How do I get an appointment? What happens if I miss my appointment?

MyMediApp at present allows for Two (2) days advance doctor Bookings/appointments. There are two types of appointments –
(1) Waiting and (2) Scheduled
Waiting Appointment: Connects you to the doctor in the immediately next available time slot within 15 minutes.
Scheduled Appointment:  You get to book a time slot for a doctor consultation in advance as per your convenience.
If you miss an appointment, you can check the immediate time slots for doctor consultation that are available. Subsequently, you can also book an appointment. MyMediApp also provides One Time Consult option and subscription model in which you can avail unlimited doctor consultations for your subscription period.

  1. How do I keep track of my medical records?

After completion of consultation call, the doctor generates a prescription, which gets updated to your medical records. In case of a chat, you always have access to the chat history.

  1. Can I receive a prescription for medication?

At the end of the consultation, you will be receiving the doctor's prescription in an e-prescription format. The e-prescription will be sent to your email and you can also view it in ‘My Appointments’ section of the App. Using this, you can order/ purchase medicines from any pharmacy in India.
Note: Doctors at MyMediApp cannot prescribe medication that are classified as Narcotic Drugs.

  1. If my dependents are unaware about the usage of smart phone, hoe do they connect with your doctors? If there any reminder service for our appointments?

Don’t worry! On behalf of your dependents, you can always book a time-slot. They will get a call on the given phone number at the specific time, and all they need to do is receive it.
There is also a provision for an ‘appointment reminder’ through a SMS notification that will be sent to your registered mobile number prior to the consultation.

  1. Can I book two appointments for two of my family members at the same time, using the same account?

Unfortunately, you cannot book both the appointments at the same time from the same account. Instead, you can schedule the appointments at two different timings.

  1. How is MyMediApp different form other online service providers?

MyMediApp provides online Doctor Consultation Service with GPs (General Physicians).   1. After undergoing investigations suggested by MyMediApp doctors, will it be possible to consult the same doctor for a subsequent visit?

It depends on the doctor's availability and the time of your call. However, you will not experience any difference in the quality of treatment. This is because after every consultation, your medical history is updated so that the subsequent doctor can take off from exactly where the previous consultation had ended.
Moreover, all the doctors at MyMediApp are highly qualified and are very well experienced in their fields. In this manner, we ensure standardization of treatment and assure you the best of services.

  1. If a patient is not satisfied with first doctor e-consultation, then what would be the second option?

As we follow a set protocol for treatment with a group of highly qualified and experienced doctors, we assure only of the best quality of treatment.
However, in the unlikely event where you are not satisfied after a consultation, you can book another consultation where you’ll be assigned another doctor. After every consultation, your medical history is updated so that the subsequent doctor can take off from exactly where the previous consultation had ended.

  1. Why should I use MyMediApp services for non-emergency cases when I am capableto self-diagnosis?

Nowadays, people are well-educated and can easily procure information since it is available in abundance - but often, this leads to misdiagnosis. On the other hand, MyMediApp provides online doctor consultations from expert doctors and which is also extremely affordable.

  1. If my prescription is unclear or I am having doubts regarding the treatment, then who0m do I approach?

  1. If we don't use the application for more then a year/several months even after paying the subscription fees, will my data get saved or erased in your app?

We strictly comply with the legal aspect and maintain ethical standards. Keeping this in view, we ensure that your data is secure and available for 3 years from the date of your subscription.

  1. Do you also deliver medicines at home? 

MyMediApp has tied-up with Med Plus, which facilitates the delivery of medicines to your doorstep.

  1. Do you guarantee satisfaction of Service?

How to Register Yourself & Get Started?

We have a simple registration process to get you onboard and start utilizing our services seamlessly. Follow these 10 simple steps to get started:
STEP 1 : Click https://app.MyMediApp.com/user/login
STEP 2: Click “Sign UP”
STEP 3: In the ‘Sign Up‘ page, enter the details and click on REGISTER. STEP 4: User will be getting an ‘Activation Link’ sent to the registered email.
If registered using mobile number, user will get a ‘Welcome SMS’ and an OTP for verification.
STEP 5: Once User clicks on Activation Link, user is directed to the Dashboard Section of their Account.
STEP 6: After OTP Verification, User is directed to the Dashboard Section of their Account
STEP 7: Once you have logged into the app, please click on the “profile” icon, which is on the left-side navigation bar. From this screen, you can edit your profile details and add upto 3 family members.
STEP 8: Click on “Choose a Plan” on the Dashboard.
STEP 9: Select your desired Plan.

1. What are the payment method you accept?

We accept payment through the following methods:

  • All types of Credit/Debit Cards
  • e-Wallets
  • Net banking

Please note: At present for our Subscription pricing for individual’s, only payment mode available is Credit Card. This is Auto Renewed every month.

2. Are me credit/debit card information secure?

Absolutely! Your card details will NOT be stored anywhere. Your card information goes through a completely secured and approved payment gateway for processing.

  1. How is my personal Health information stored?

All information concerning appointments and medical records are subject to strict confidentiality, which are in accordance with the legal framework. Only the information that you update in your Health Profile, and the prescriptions provided by the consulting doctors are available for viewing and can be seen in ‘My Appointments’.

  1. How secure is my data and private information?

We assure you that all our conversations are secured as we use the highest standards of technology through which your calls are encrypted and cannot be accessed by any means.

  1. How fast can  I connect with your doctor by using your App?

Using our Mobile App, you can connect with a doctor within fifteen (15) minutes from anywhere (through mobile, tablet, laptop or desktop with network connectivity)!

  1. Do I need internet connection to use MyMediApp service?

Yes, you need an Internet connection to book any kind of consultation – audio/ video call or chat. Internet connection is essential for the purpose of booking a call. Thereafter, one can have a regular telephonic consultation without any Internet.
Although it is recommended to use a secure Wi-Fi Internet connection for the best possible experience, our services also work fine with 3G or 4G connection.

  1. I don't have a very good connection. What can I do?

In the event of a poor connection, we recommend that you choose Audio consultation using the telephone instead of an audio call over the internet.

  1. I am unable to access MyMediApp App. Please help!

In the unlikely event of having trouble with our app, please note the following three useful techniques that can help you:

  • Restart your App - Close the app completely and relaunch it on your Phone.
  • Restart your Phone - Restart your phone; this often sorts out such app issues
  • Reinstall the App – There are times when an improper install can cause the app to malfunction. Hence, we suggest reinstallation of the app afresh. This can sort the issue.

  1. What operating system or device do you support?

You can speak to a GP using either an iPhone or Android smartphone via the MyMediApp app. The MyMediApp app is available on Android Kitkat (4.4 and above) and iOS devices (10 and above). A web application is also available at https://app.MyMediApp.com
At present, we are supporting Android and iOS enabled devices. These include tablets and smartphones.

  • For Android, ideally our system supports devices that are Android 4.2 and above
  • For iOS, you need to have iOS 6 and above installed. Moreover, your iPhone must also be a model 4S or newer.
  1. Hoe do I check what version of Android or IOS +I am running?

Android Instructions:

  • Go to SETTINGS
  • Select ABOUT PHONE (typically at the bottom)
  • The version of Android OS your device is running will be displayed next to ANDROID VERSION

iOS Instructions:

  • Go to SETTINGS
  • Select GENERAL
  • Select ABOUT
  • The version of iOS your device is running will be displayed next to VERSION
